Summary:  

The Account Development Director will partner with clients and internal stakeholders to create an exceptional experience for Skyline Clients through relationship management and project execution. This role is essential in client retention, revenue growth, margin and delivery. The Account Development Director will have growth and expansion goals within the existing portfolio along with net new client acquisition expectations through referrals and other selling strategies. Margin management will be a top focus along with retention and expansion of existing client accounts.  

Essential Duties/Responsibilities  

  • Manage client projects by following prescriptive project and program processes defined in conjunction with client services  
  • Focus on renewal, retention, and loyalty of existing client base  
  • Account planning growth to include YOY organic growth by leveraging our range of offerings, obtaining referrals into other divisions or with other companies and maximizing the potential of the entire account up to and including event referral to BrandSync  
  • Drive additional value through strategic plans via bolt on sales/upselling with CMX, Digital, Ancillary services, etc  
  • Manage existing assigned client list and new client onboarding and execution in partnership with the business development team  
  • Manage future pipeline and CRM data accuracy for assigned accounts  
  • Mastery of client focused sales efforts as well as client services support functions  
  • Leverage our brand to increase organic growth with Tier 1 & 2 clients, high volume project management  
  • Quota attainment  

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities  

  • Previous experience developing and growing existing client relationship  
  • Previous experience of project management within the trade show industry  
  • Experience utilizing CRM and project management tool  
  • Ability to be highly collaborative  
  • Clear communication with clients and internal stakeholder  

Salary Information:  

This role is a base + commission structure. Typical base salary is around $100,000/year plus commission. On Target Earnings for the year range from $175,000-$300,000.
