Overview

The API Solutions Engineer will work with both internal and external partners to onboard and facilitate API consumption on the Client API Platform. The role requires collaboration with the API Engineering teams, technical writers, and product management to ensure the success of the Client's API initiative. Experience in Java, Kotlin, React, and JavaScript is essential.

Responsibilities

​

• Implement OAuth2 security for the Client API Platform.
• Collaborate with API teams on capabilities, use cases, and technical solutions.
• Assist clients in onboarding to the platform and API gateway.
• Develop tooling and automation around manual processes.
• Provide guidance on client use cases and offer technical support.
• Work with technical writers to create API documentation, tutorials, and demo applications.
• Provide examples and sample code to client developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with gateway engineers.

Required Qualifications

​

• Strong experience with Restful APIs.
• Proficiency with OAuth2 authentication, JWTs, Scopes, and Claims.
• Coding and automation skills in Java and Kotlin.
• Experience with React and JavaScript is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

​

​

• Remote/hybrid role based in Blue Ash, OH.
• 12-month contract.
