Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional with extensive experience in Azure Cloud and NetAPP to support various infrastructure projects within the organization. This role will involve collaboration with the Department of Environment Quality and the Department of Information and Technology to enhance the deployment of Azure services.

Key Responsibilities

​

​

•  Assist in the setup and configuration of Azure to optimize benefits for DEQ.
•  Collaborate with Microsoft Azure Support Teams to design and implement infrastructure components including:
•  Virtual machines
•  Databases
•  Firewall rules
•  VPN tunnels
•  Establish a Customer Owned environment by creating:
•  Custom Images
•  Virtual Networks (VNet) and VPN gateways
•  Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) machines
•  Implement and manage Intune for VDI machines, effectively assigning them to high, medium, and low resource groups.
•  Document the DevOps environment and establish appropriate rights and permissions.
•  Provide knowledge sharing and training to the team during downtime.

Required Qualifications

​

​

•  Experience: A minimum of 5 years as an Azure Cloud Architect, including expertise in:
•  Custom Imaging and VDI/Hypervisor
•  Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM)
•  VNet and Resource Groups
•  Azure VPN gateways
•  Technical Skills:
•  5 years of experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager / SCCM.
•  5 years of demonstrated knowledge in directory services, including Azure Active Directory (AD) and traditional Active Directory (AD).
•  5 years of thorough knowledge of firewalls, including management of access groups, rules, ports, and specific pinhole connections, along with the inter-operation between various technologies.

•  Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a plus.
