Job Description

Our client are an exceptionally fast growing cybersecurity vendor in the identity space, with a unique SaaS solution which is rapidly disrupting their niche. They have recently secured a significant VC round and are looking to hire their first US based Channel Director to create and build a channel program, recruit, and enable partners. This role is both strategic, as well as hands-on.

We are seeking a highly experienced Channel Director, to cover National partners of the USA. This individual will have a demonstrable track record of building channel and alliance partners within the space, and early stage build experience is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Attainment of reseller revenue targets
  • Develop reseller channel partner profile, along with strategic plan working with Regional Sales Directors and VP Sales
  • Influence resellers to promote the solution and embrace the larger strategic value of the product lifecycle
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and enable strategic resellers/partners and support partner sales efforts to meet strategic plan goals.
  • Work with internal training and professional services teams to ensure partners maintain training and certification levels.
  • Work closely with channel marketing to create incentives, SPIFs, and recognition programs
  • Liaise with Product Marketing to identify new product sales opportunities with resellers.
  • Track partner performance

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding quota in the sale of complex technology. SaaS/security highly preferred.
  • Channel/partner experience with proven C-level interaction
  • Experience with national partners, resellers and boutique partners such as Guidepoint, Optiv, Presidio, Trace 3, WWT, etc
  • Broad technology understanding across networking, information security, business process.
  • Proven experience in proactively building channel partner networks
  • Start-up/early stage vendor experience is a must
  • Specific cloud security, or identity domain knowledge would be a bonus, although is not essential.
  • GSI partner experience is also a bonus.

Comp range around $350k OTE on a 60/40 split + stock options.
