Role Description:

Are you passionate about the cannabis industry and eager to lead a sales team in California? We are looking for a motivated California Director of Sales to join our company. In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive sales strategies, foster relationships with clients, and make a significant impact in a rapidly evolving market.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and increase market share
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Analyze market trends and consumer behaviors to adapt sales strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with marketing to create promotional campaigns that resonate with our target audience
  • Provide continuous training and development opportunities for the sales team
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports to present to senior management

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a sales leadership role within the cannabis industry
  • Prior experience as a people leader managing sales and field teams
  • Strong understanding of California's cannabis regulations and market dynamics
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals in a competitive market
  • Analytical skills to assess market trends and sales strategies effectively
  • Willingness to travel within California as needed. This is a remote, field-based role

The approximate pay range for this position is 120k - 150k, plus bonus. The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of the posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
