Opportunity:
ChartRequest is seeking a hands-on, sales-driven leader to serve as our Director of Client Services – Sales. This role is ideal for a seasoned Client Services or Account Management professional who thrives in a fast-paced, sales-oriented environment and is eager to both lead a team and personally drive revenue growth.
The Director of Client Services – Sales will build, manage, and scale the Customer Engagement Specialist (CES) program, ensuring that recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management drive measurable results. This individual will not just oversee sales efforts—but actively participate in selling and closing deals to drive growth.
Additionally, this role includes traveling to conferences (6–8 times per year) to engage with potential clients, develop relationships, and represent ChartRequest in key industry settings.
This is a high-impact leadership position for someone who is proactive, strategic, and personally invested in winning business.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Personally drive sales and close deals, acting as both a leader and a key revenue contributor.
- Own the Client Services – Sales function, leading customer engagement efforts from initial contact to conversion.
- Lead, manage, and scale the Customer Engagement Specialist (CES) program, ensuring a highly effective, well-trained sales team.
- Recruit, onboard, and train CES personnel, developing structured training programs to optimize ramp-up time and performance.
- Set, track, and optimize KPIs for the CES team, ensuring sales outreach strategies align with business growth targets.
- Develop and refine outreach and engagement processes, ensuring seamless lead handoff and progression through the sales funnel.
- Act as a key sales liaison, working closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to refine engagement strategies and maximize conversion rates.
- Represent ChartRequest at conferences (6–8 times per year), networking with potential clients, driving brand awareness, and closing new business opportunities.
- Leverage CRM and analytics tools (HubSpot preferred) to monitor sales performance and drive data-backed decision-making.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture, providing coaching and mentorship to CES team members while setting a strong example through direct sales execution.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 4-year Bachelor’s degree (Required)
- 7+ years of experience in Client Services, Account Management, or Sales (SaaS or Healthcare experience strongly preferred)
- 5+ years of experience leading and managing sales or account management teams
- Proven track record of personally selling and closing deals in a B2B environment
- Experience with sales pipeline management, lead nurturing, and customer engagement strategies
- Strong understanding of KPIs and performance metrics to evaluate and optimize individual and team performance
- Ability to travel to conferences 6–8 times per year
- Highly organized and process-driven, with a balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) and data-driven sales strategies
- Experience with EOS, LVL10 Meetings, and Rock Setting (Preferred)

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
