Director of Sales
LHH is working with their client looking to add a talented Director of Sales to their team. This role will be responsible for sales growth within a B2B environment as well as hiring and training a team of sales representatives for various territories in both North Carolina and South Carolina. This role will travel regionally approximately 1/3 of the time, will be in the office 1/3 of the time and have remote flexibility the additional 1/3 of the time. Think this sounds like a perfect fit? Responsibilities:
Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategies for outside sales to meet objectives for the B2B sales team.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage the outside sales team to achieve performance targets.
Sales Strategy Development: Enhance and refine the go-to-market approach for our product line.
Collaboration: Partner with the leadership team on growth initiatives and company-wide programs.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and product deliveries; generate reports for management as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 7+ years of experience within B2B sales including canvassing experience and leading a team/people management.
- Proven track record in outside sales, particularly in cold calling and lead conversion.
- Strong background in high volume, process-driven sales environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills-experience with pivot tables and vlookups, etc.
- Familiarity with such tools as Zoominfo, Lystloc and Ring Central.
