Location: Massachusetts/NH/RI based is preferred, but we will look at well qualified candidates who reside anywhere in the EST or CST time zones.

The team at hirealliance is excited to partner with a fast-growing IT services company in their search for a Director of Sales to build on the company's success and help take the business to the next level!

​

Our client provides IT Services to their clients in the form of:

  • Dispatch services: Dispatching teams to provide on-site technical support, such as laptop repairs and hardware replacement
  • Project Work: Delivering mid to large-scale solutions to clients
  • Staffing Services: Traditional staffing with a focus on help desk, infrastructure, and hardware roles.

About the Role:

​

Our client is seeking a Director of Sales to drive their sales efforts and build a scalable sales team. This is a hands-on sales leadership role where you’ll initially focus on developing a book of business, implementing structured sales strategies, and establishing account plans.

​

Over time, your focus will shift to hiring and managing a high-performing sales team, transitioning the role to one of leadership and management within 2–4 years.

​

The ideal candidate will bring an entrepreneurial mindset, proven sales expertise, and the ability to establish and grow a sales organization from the ground up. While prior experience in dispatch or project work isn’t necessary (training provided), familiarity with IT staffing or IT infrastructure services is a strong plus.

​

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a robust sales methodology.
  • Build and maintain a personal book of business while driving revenue growth.
  • Create account plans and establish measurable sales metrics.
  • Recruit, hire, and manage a high-performing sales team.
  • Transition from hands-on selling to a leadership role over 2–4 years.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with operational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales leadership and building/managing sales teams.
  • Strong background in sales methodologies, account planning, and metrics-driven management.
  • Experience selling IT staffing services or IT infrastructure services is preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

​

Compensation:

  • Base salary: $90,000–$110,000 (flexible based on experience).
  • Commission plan with override potential on team performance as they are hired.
