Job Title: Director of New Business Development - Mortgage QC and Due Diligence Services

Location: USA REMOTE

Department: Sales and Business Development

Reports to: Vice President  

Job Summary:

The Director of New Business Development will be responsible for driving the growth of our Mortgage QC and Due Diligence services. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep industry knowledge, a proven track record in business development, and the ability to build strong client relationships. The successful candidate will be tasked with identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing sales strategies, and achieving revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development and Sales:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to acquire new clients for Mortgage QC and Due Diligence services.
  • Identify and target potential clients through market research, networking, and leveraging industry contacts.
  • Lead the sales process from prospecting through closing deals, including negotiating contracts and pricing.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Understand client needs and tailor service offerings to meet those needs.
  • Provide exceptional post-sale support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Market Analysis and Strategy:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to inform business development strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for product enhancements and new service offerings based on market feedback and client needs.

Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and product development, to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior business development staff.

Reporting and Performance Tracking:

  • Track and report on sales performance metrics, including revenue growth, client acquisition, and pipeline development.
  • Regularly update senior management on progress and adjust strategies as needed to meet business goals.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in business development or sales within the mortgage industry, with a focus on QC and Due Diligence services.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience working in a BPO environment is highly desirable.

Skills and Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage QC and Due Diligence processes and regulations.
  • Strong network of industry contacts and ability to leverage relationships for business development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
