Position Overview

BradyPLUS is seeking a Director of Sales Enablement to serve as an advocate for sales and ensure they have the necessary knowledge and access to tools and resources to help sales reps succeed. This role will be the eyes, ears, and voice of sales and lead sales communications to create/manage/streamline content while reducing noise. As the champion for the sales organization, this role will partner across the business to advise and assist with any change management related to sales. Working collaboratively with other departments and the entire sales effectiveness team will be essential to this team’s success.

NOTE: While the office is located in Las Vegas, NV this position may be performed REMOTELY.

Responsibilities Include

Lead Sales Communications

  • Develop, maintain, and update sales communications and engagement policy for external and internal stakeholders, ensuring streamlined communications and defined distribution through Sales Effectiveness only.
  • Oversee development and management of sales-specific distribution lists
  • Partner with Marketing and Merchandising to obtain market insights to inform sales team about emerging trends and solutions
  • Change management advocate and lead for Sales organization, including partnering across the business for risk identification/mitigation and communication plans tailored to sales audience.

Eyes, Ears, & Voice of Sales

  • Be a conduit between sales and all other functions.
  • Obtain feedback from various formats, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and a Sales Advisory Board.
  • Share feedback with sales effectiveness team to support strategy and development, customer success, and operations and analytics
  • Gather internal feedback and ideas from sales and account management teams on how to improve processes.
  • Design and manage Sales Advisory Board with a clearly defined purpose and participant criteria

Sales Resources & Tools

  • Coordinate with functional departments to develop Sales guides, tools, etc.
  • Obtain feedback on CRM user experience to drive continuous enhancement identification and prioritization for the Sales Operations and Analytics team
  • Ensure sales strategies and terminology are consistent throughout all training, technology platforms, and tools/resources
  • Lead efforts to identify and select new sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, pricing tool, quoting tool, account management, etc.)
  • Create deployment plans to support adoption of existing and new sales tools, as needed
  • Identify opportunities to drive sales efficiency by creating/updating standard processes and leveraging sales support for administrative activities, tasks, and requests (e.g., bid requests, cost deviations, etc.)

Manage Internal Support

  • Manage sales effectiveness team inbox by answering questions and directing requests to the correct point person
  • Manage the Sales Community Intranet and ensure content is routinely updated
  • Document requests and identify areas of opportunity for improvement, including communication gaps, training needs, user experience enhancements, etc.

Sales Strategy & Development Support

  • Partner with strategy and development team as a subject matter expert for CRM training
  • Share sales feedback and insight to help develop future training and strategy

Supplier Sales Engagement

  • Coordinate supplier engagement in collaboration with Marketing and Merchandizing, including educational series, supplier incentives, etc.
  • Advise and assist on any content or presentation messaging that a supplier is developing and intended to be sales-facing, ensuring it aligns with our company goals and sales initiatives

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Direct sales experience is preferred for this position
  • Experience in change management and communication-related projects, including writing, development, planning and/or editing of content
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience working with all levels of leadership and other stakeholders
  • Eager to learn the business and help identify/create/launch efficiencies for the sales organization at scale
  • Management experience and leading cross-functional teams
