Role Overview: They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales Engineering to lead our Sales Engineering team across the United States, scaling out the team to handle an immense level on inbound. This role requires a proven leader with extensive managerial experience in the Sales Engineering field and a background in start up environments. You will be responsible for developing technical sales strategies, managing a talented team, and ensuring our clients receive the highest level of service and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Mentor: Directly manage and mentor the Sales Engineering team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with sales leadership to develop and execute effective sales initiatives and technical strategies.
  • Client Engagement: Provide product expertise and technical guidance during client presentations and demonstrations, ensuring a deep understanding of client needs.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with clients to identify their requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Utilize Python scripting skills to enhance technical demonstrations and support clients in leveraging our solutions effectively.
  • Start up Experience: Leverage your experience in a start up environment to navigate challenges, drive innovation, and implement best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Managerial Experience: Significant experience in a Sales Engineering or similar role, with a proven track record of successfully managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Startup Experience: Previous experience working in startup environments, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to inspire, lead, and grow a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent Communication: Exceptional presentation and communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
