Job Description:

Location  : 100% remote

Type  : 18 month contract

Location  : 100% Remote - Must reside in the United States

Compensation  : $71-90hr w2

PTO  : 15 days accrued

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dynamics AX Consultant with expertise in Dynamics AX on-premises skills. For Dynamics AX, there should be a strong focus on performance, code reviews.

An ideal candidate will play a key role in design, development and optimization of Dynamics AX deployments as well as assisting in migration and modernization to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Dynamics AX engineer, architect, or similar role
  • on-premises implementations and managing ERP software and third-party interfaces
  • Extensive experience with

  • Work with team members to ensure alignment of the ERP system with business processes
  • Customize ERP software to fulfill company requirements
  • Identify system problems and troubleshoot solutions
  • Update system, applications, and functionalities as needed
  • Train employees on the use of ERP tools and systems or Delivering and/or authoring technical training
  • Create and maintain system documentation and ERP process instructions
  • Conduct regular system audits and testing to ensure optimal functionality
  • Strong understanding of performance tuning methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with key stakeholders.
  • Advanced Microsoft certifications preferred.
  • Previous Consulting and/or customer facing role.

Required Skill Set

  • Dynamics AX
  • Enterprise level support and administration focused specifically with:
  • AX performance and tuning optimization, Dynamics AX + Migration, on-premise and cloud and Power Apps.
  • Expertise with all versions of Dynamics AX/F&O
  • Solving performance problems, query tuning, and optimization
  • Architectural experience for Dynamics AX
  • Delivering and/or authoring technical training
  • Knowledge of ERP software beyond Microsoft Dynamics AX (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • Experience with system installation and troubleshooting
  • Understanding of business operations and processes
  • Experience training users on ERP systems
  • Experience in configuring and maintaining …
