Global ERP Implementation Manager (IFS)

We seek a self-motivated, detail oriented, problem solver, with strong organizational skills to serve as IFS System Manager to help with Implementation, Documentation, and User Support.
This role is a vital position within the Company, as indicated by the fact the successful candidate will be working directly with the Company President. System Manager will be responsible for leading a system Implementation / Upgrade for a global group of companies.
This is a hybrid (mostly remote) position.
Responsibilities Include:
· Lead the approaching re-implementation to a new version of the legacy software, including configuration, quality assurance and user acceptance testing.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of ERP and other systems.
· Troubleshoot ERP errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
· Provide documentation and technical specifications for managing current infrastructure and/or planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
· Perform user setup, including system access and associated administrative functions.
· Troubleshoot and resolve ERP related software, hardware, user access or other problems.
· Manage ERP software and consulting/support vendors to ensure systems run efficiently and smoothly.
· Installation, configuration, testing, and maintaining of system regular system updates (two per year).
· Evaluate optimal location for hosting ERP, including determination of capacity, storage planning, and database performance.
· Prepare system support documentation for ERP, enabling others to perform necessary tasks by referencing the manual.
· Lead continual user development.
· Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems.
· Working with outside IT service, maintain stable and consistent connectivity across all network computers and monitor disaster recovery procedures.
· Modify security files and applications as able and necessary to provide specialized access, allow new software to be installed or integrated, or correct errors.
· The successful candidate will work directly with Company President on these critical projects.
Qualifications
- Degree in IT, Computers, System Administration, a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience with previous upgrades/implementations/re-implementations is required
- 3-5 years’ experience as System Specialist or Administrator
- Strong communication as well as organizational skill
- Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to manage your own time
- Record-keeping and file proficiency
