Job Summary:

The Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for Narcosa, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales leadership, a proven track record of driving revenue growth, and exceptional skills in building and managing high-performing sales teams. This role will require collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize sales processes and enhance customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with Narcosa’s vision and growth objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities, target segments, and revenue streams to drive sustainable growth.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and results.
  • Set clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance expectations, providing guidance and support to team members.

Sales Process Optimization:

  • Analyze and refine sales processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness in lead generation, conversion, and customer retention.
  • Implement best practices and tools to enhance the sales team’s performance and productivity.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to ensure alignment between sales initiatives and overall business strategies.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments to enhance the customer journey.

Market Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
  • Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports on sales metrics, insights, and recommendations for improvement.

Customer Engagement:

  • Develop strategies to enhance customer relationships and drive long-term loyalty.
  • Lead key sales negotiations and presentations to high-value clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 3 years in a Head of Sales or senior sales executive position, preferably in the technology sector.
  • Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth and building successful sales teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to inform decision-making and optimize sales strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales enablement tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
