Role Description

We are looking for an experienced and structured Head of Sales to grow the demand of our high-quality electric jetboards and eFoils in the US market. As the leader of the US sales strategy and execution, you will create plans and allocate budgets in accordance to the business goals for achieving a high ROI through multiple channels. Also, you will lead and develop the US sales organization and drive sales related activities and build strategic relationships with partners in order to grow pipeline and revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Own all sales strategies and activities to ensure achievement of business and sales goals in the US market
  • Keep track of sales performance and prepare forecasts and KPI reporting
  • Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of the development
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams e.g. marketing, finance, CX & R&D
  • Secure creation of relevant content for the different customer segments and campaigns/events together with the marketing team
  • Establish the inbound and outbound lead requirements needed to meet sales objectives
  • Ensure cross and up sales to existing customers and partners
  • Participate in creating and progressing partner plans and work with local dealers and partners to grow pipeline and revenue
  • Ensure efficient and transparent management of the US commercial and operational set-up
  • Guide and coach the US sales team regarding personal development and goals
  • Bringing the AWAKE organization to the next level, hence, over time, establish a US commercial office
  • The role will report to the Company CCO (Chief Commercial Officer)

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant sales and leadership experience in the US market with a proven record of success
  • Experience in one or more of the following industries: Water toy, lifestyle, luxury brand, yachting and maritime
  • Strong leadership competences and development of sales teams
  • Experience with B2C and B2B sales through multiple channels
  • Data-driven mind-set and strong analytical skills including the ability to collect and use data to make business decisions
  • Proven negotiation skills, creation of contracts and the ability to create close plans for securing deals within a given time-frame
  • Knowledge of using online tools e.g. CRM-systems to track performance
  • Strength in problem solving and the expertise to work in a deadline-driven environment
  • Supply chain and logistics experience e.g. inventory management
