This is a high-impact, field-based role requiring extensive travel and a strong background in hospital sales, business development, and healthcare operations. This is not a traditional sales roleβitβs an exciting hybrid position blending business development, hospital operations, and program execution. What You Will Be Accountable For

- Hospital Sales & Business Development:
- Identify, develop, and secure new hospital partnerships for birth tissue donation programs.
- Build relationships with Labor & Delivery leadership, OB/GYNs, Nurse Managers, and Hospital Administrators to drive program adoption.
- Conduct hospital drop-ins, in-person sales meetings, and ride-alongs with leadership to accelerate hospital sign-ups.
- Negotiate and finalize hospital contracts, ensuring seamless onboarding and execution.
- Maintain thorough documentation of sales efforts, outreach, and revenue goals in the CRM.
- Hospital Implementation & On-Site Execution:
- Lead the initial hospital launch process, staying on-site full-time (4-6 weeks) near the hospital until staffing is complete.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for hospital teams during implementation.
- Train and mentor Placental Tissue Donation Coordinators, ensuring they manage donor screening, blood draws, regulatory documentation, and hospital workflow integration.
- Deliver and pick up supplies, ensuring all necessary materials are in place for program success.
- Conduct Zoom calls, prepare presentations, and provide ongoing education to hospital staff on donation procedures and program benefits.
- Maintain communication with Director of Donor Operations for direction and operational support.
- Ongoing Hospital Relationship Management:
- Conduct regular check-ins at partnered hospitals to strengthen relationships and increase donation rates.
- Provide data-driven insights to optimize hospital engagement and improve tissue recovery.
- Address operational challenges, troubleshoot issues, and identify expansion opportunities within existing hospital partnerships.
- Participate in hospital audits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to FDA and AATB regulations. What Qualifications You Need:

- 5+ years of experience in hospital sales, business development, or healthcare program implementation.
- Proven success in selling to Labor & Delivery leadership (Directors of Obstetrics, Nurse Managers, Administrators).
- Ability to negotiate and execute hospital contracts in a complex healthcare environment.
- Must reside in the territory (Washington DC Metro to New York City), with a strong preference for candidates near Somerset, NJ.
- Willingness to travel extensively (>75%), including frequent hospital visits across the East Coast and beyond.
- Ability to stay on-site (4-6 weeks) in a hotel during new hospital launches.
- Valid driverβs license and personal vehicle required (Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate).
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, ensuring CRM and reporting are updated regularly.
- High accountability with a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills.
- Ability to stand and be on your feet for 8-12 hour shifts.

- Medical Sales Experience
- Experience in birth tissue donation, perinatal tissue banking, or L&D clinical settings.
- Familiarity with FDA and AATB regulations related to birth tissue donation.
- Background in medical device, biotech, or pharmaceutical hospital sales.
