What You Will Be Doing:

The individual selected for this remote full-time position will be responsible for implementing compliance and risk management software applications for financial services and banking clients. The Implementation Consultant will be one of the first post-sale points of contact for the client and will own the implementation process for one or more software products all the way through to launch.

The implementation cycle includes requirements gathering, configuration, functional testing, guiding clients through user acceptance testing, and coordinating product launch. Although the Implementation Consultant is responsible for the entire Implementation lifecycle, there is a strong emphasis on software configuration, and this position requires experience configuring complex software applications. Successful candidates are high performers who will build strong client relationships, work closely with other internal departments as needed, deliver the product as defined during the requirements phase, and help drive the client to adhere to the project schedule. In addition, candidates must be comfortable leading multiple products/projects simultaneously and leading product demonstrations.

Responsibilities:

  • Consultatively work with clients to define their product needs and to guide them through the requirements gathering process for RegEd’s web-based applications.
  • Partner with clients to define future-state business processes and workflows to ensure the defined product configuration will meet the business need.
  • Create and maintain client-specific project plans, ensure resources are scheduled accordingly to deliver on time, and offer suggestions to mitigate risks and avoid delays.
  • Provide detailed documentation of client-specific requirements, configure web-based applications per the documented requirements, and perform thorough functional testing of the configured applications.
  • Create client-specific templates for importing historical data; run test imports, validate imported data, and work with client to review/approve.
  • Manage client expectations for their implementation and deliver top quality customer service throughout the process.
  • Build strong relationships with client team members, work successfully under pressure, maintain positive attitude, and meet client project deadlines in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Act as internal subject matter expert for assigned products. This will entail providing input and feedback to internal teams responsible for product enhancements and evolution as well as training clients on use of the application and answering their questions regarding functionality and usage.

  • Have superior verbal and written communication skills with a strict attention to detail.
  • Posses excellent organizational skills with the ability to successfully prioritize numerous responsibilities for multiple projects and provide effective and timely follow-up.
  • Have experience defining, measuring, and analyzing business processes, and will be able to suggest process improvements as part of the client’s software implementation.
  • Have strong analytical skills, including understanding and troubleshooting functional software configurations.
  • Have the ability to interact with and provide updates to senior management, both internally and externally.
  • Are extremely responsive, results oriented, enthusiastic, and an effective problem solver.
  • Are highly flexible, able to learn quickly, and responsible for their actions and decisions.
  • Have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, and Visio.

Must Have:

  • 5+ years of software implementation experience, technical and/or project management experience or other successful client-facing experience.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Nice To Have:

  • Project Management experience or PMP certification desired
  • Knowledge of the securities and/or insurance industries desired

The compensation range for this role is $55,000-$120,000. RegEd's compensation package is based on each candidate's unique skills, qualifications and experience. Whether an employee is paid within this range will depend on the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience and qualifications. The total compensation package also includes our comprehensive benefits package, vacation time, sick time, volunteer time and parental leave.
