Job Summary

This position manages all aspects of new client implementations coordinating between the client, their broker/consultant, Account Management and Operations throughout the process. Overall, responsible for project managing all implementation activities until completion. Works under the direction of the Director of Account Operations.

NEW SELF FUNDED CLIENTS:

  • Initiates implementation of all new groups
  • Responsible for maintaining client implementation documents, including those required by external vendors (e.g. PPO networks, telemedicine, etc)
  • Conducts external and internal initial and ongoing implementation meetings
  • Coordinates meetings with new vendors and internal teams to implement new vendor partners
  • Monitors deliverables and deadlines from the various internal teams regarding implementation tasks
  • Monitors deliverables and deadlines for external vendors on implementation tasks
  • Maintains overall implementation log, tasks completion and deadlines met
  • Assists with development and review of client specific documents such as Plan Documents, SBCs and FaxBacks
  • Works with Account Manager to take over once implementation is complete
  • Lead implementation and billing portal training calls
  • Obtain necessary information and documentation for new groups to facilitate implementations
  • Compare group's existing medical benefits to captive standard schedule of benefits and lead group through decision making process
  • Coordinate all contracts with new groups
  • Creates internal client folders
  • Acts as liaison between operations and client/broker regarding questions and missing information
  • Performs other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For (Nobody’s Perfect, But Experience is a Plus!)

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in business, communication or healthcare management preferred. Employee benefits experience preferred. TPA experience preferred.
  • Project management experience is a plus!
  • Must have exceptional communications skills, to include presentation skills.
  • Must have a passion for customer service.
  • Must have exceptional documentation and organization skills.
  • Must possess a team player mentality with focus on collaboration skills.
  • General knowledge of business correspondence, filing, and general office procedures.
  • Skill in data analysis and recognition of pertinent data elements.
  • Skill in clearly presenting complex procedures and database parameters.
  • Skill in critical thinking.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of material and information.
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team and with other departments

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 80% of the time.
  • Must use close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal and expansive reading.
  • Must be able to lift or move items up to 20lbs.
  • Must have the ability to move files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
