Implementation Manager
Job Description
A boutique global advisory and professional services consultancy specializing in strategy, operations, and technology consulting for the Alternative Investments industry are looking a Manager or Senior Manager to join on a full-time basis.
You will play a pivotal role in the design and execution of innovative, practical solutions across the entire fund lifecycle of alternative investment managers. Projects will include developing strategic information management plans, conducting operational reviews and audits, designing process improvements, and enabling technology solutions for investment managers and institutional investors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the successful implementation of projects from initiation to Go-Live and beyond
- Apply implementation methodologies to ensure client success
- Understand and manage the intricacies of Alternative Investment operations
- Conduct business requirement interviews and document business requirements, processes, and reporting needs
- Analyze current business processes and assist clients in developing improved solutions based on their strategic objectives
- Collaborate with clients to define project deliverables and recommend best practice solutions
- Develop and document test cases and ensure clear validation criteria throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage project timelines and milestones, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Produce detailed status reports, track actions, and facilitate progress meetings
- Provide strong project management and coordination support to ensure seamless project delivery
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Consulting, Business Analysis, Project Management, System Implementations (SDLC), or Operations, with a focus on the Alternative Investment industry
- Hands-on experience with eFront for private equity and alternative investments is essential, ideally eFront Invest.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and client-service skills
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities with a high attention to detail
- Experience with business analysis methodologies and requirements elicitation/documentation
- Ability to deliver presentations and training in formal settings
- Proficiency in process mapping (e.g., Visio) and Microsoft Office tools
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize under pressure
- Experience working with vendors and partners to gather critical project information
- Flexibility for travel or able to commute to NYC
