Inside Solutions Architect
Job Description
11:11 Systems is seeking a Solutions Architect to join our growing pre-sales team. The Solutions Architect partners with the 11:11 Systems sales team to both acquire new customers and grow existing customer accounts. As a Solutions Architect you will lead pre-sales technical discussions, discovering and uncovering customer technical requirements as the discussions unfold.
This is a full-time US based remote position and will report to the Director of Solutions Architecture.
Responsibilities
- Partner with a group of sales representatives, as assigned by the Director of Solutions Architecture, to maximize quota attainment.
- Participate in multiple concurrent sales opportunities.
- Design customer solutions by using a consultative selling approach to identify client business issues, determine desired outcomes, and architect a solution that utilizes all our products and services.
- Coordinate across internal teams to design, document, price and quote solutions for presentation to the customer.
- Validate pricing and configuration of complex sales proposals.
- Ensure complete discovery and definition of customer application requirements.
- Architect solutions to meet customer requirements and document the designs by providing high-level architectural diagrams, detailed statements of work, and high-level project plans for complex multi-stage deployments.
- Continually seek industry and market information to provide 11:11 Systems with the information necessary for successful business development.
- Represent 11:11 Systems at public events such as trade shows and webinars.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or University degree required.
- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology roles.
- 2+ years of experience in Sales Engineering roles, or excellent command of persuasive communication.
- Hands-on experience in three or more of the following technologies: Backup & Recovery, Disaster Recovery, IT System Administration, IP Networking, Information Security, VMware Administration, AWS Administration, Azure Administration.
- Strong customer interfacing skills, being able to translate business requirements to technical functionality of 11:11 Systems solution set.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially presentation skills, to a large audience or in one-on-one meetings (planned and ad-hoc).
- Well-developed time-management, task-management, and note-taking skills.
- Self-motivated and flexible.
- Demonstrates passion, enthusiasm, and self-confidence that translates well to customers, partners, and colleagues with an investigative mind.
- Up to 25% travel required.
