The Junior Enterprise Application Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting the Firm’s enterprise applications. Qualified candidates must have advanced technical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining the firm’s enterprise applications.
- Coordinating configuration changes, upgrades, and patches to application systems with business units and other IT support teams to minimize users’ impact.
- Developing and maintaining appropriate monitoring, maintenance, and support processes in order to provide business applications that are highly available and high performing.
- Conducting in-depth troubleshooting of cross-team issues involving core firm application systems, such as the firm DMS, M365 cloud applications, print management platform, and server-based web applications.
- Documenting internal application systems, including configurations, processes, system policies, and disaster recovery.
- Performing day-to-day support functions and resolving system issues escalated through a support ticketing system (ServiceNow, etc.)
- Researching relevant technology trends as required to support Enterprise Applications Team projects and operational efforts.
Qualifications
- Four-year college degree preferred, equivalent experience will be considered.
- Azure, Microsoft Windows, Office Suite, are a plus.
- Prior working information technology experience in a legal or professional service organization is desired, but not required.
- Minimum of one year of experience implementing or supporting enterprise-level business applications.
- Minimum of two years of customer support experience supporting a diverse customer base including C-level executives.
- Experience supporting the following:
- Document management systems (iManage Work 10, NetDocuments, etc.)
- Various enterprise applications (Adobe, M365 Apps, PrinterLogic, PaperCut, Kiteworks, etc.)
- Applications in a virtual environment (Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Omnissa Horizons, Azure Virtual Desktops, etc.)
- Solid understanding of Windows server and business operating systems (Server 2016 - 2022, Windows 11).
- High level proficiency in PowerShell.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and technologies including: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Windows firewall, etc. is required.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite and/or related software.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Ability to identify the appropriate method of communication.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to analyze technical problems to insure proper resolution
- Ability to identify practical solutions to complex problems which may require the introduction of new technology, refinements to existing technology solutions or manual processes
- Must be able to manage multiple demands simultaneously by addressing priorities to insure all deadlines are met.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
