Introduction
We are seeking a Logistics Solution Engineer to join our Logistics Quality Assurance team! In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing quality, safety and optimization in packaging, storage and transportation for all Business Areas.
In this position, you will report to the Senior Manager, Logistics Quality Assurance.
This position is located in Espoo, Tampere or Lappeenranta, and we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.

You have the opportunity to work with several passionate colleagues and suppliers globally who are joining you in the journey to continuously improve our customer satisfaction. Close collaboration with your colleagues will be one of the keys to success. In this role, you will provide support to Manufacturing Teams, Business Units (BUs) and 3rd party suppliers. The members of your team are located in Finland, Australia and in the United States.
What You’ll Do
- Plan, manage, implement and develop economic, safe and sustainable packaging, storage and transportation methods for all items and types of transportation
- Drive logistics cost competitiveness through design-to-cost development according to business needs in collaboration with Engineering and Customer Logistics (CL)
- Prepare required item and equipment-specific packaging, storage and transport guidelines and provide required trainings
- Manage required transport, storage and packaging-related development projects, including OOG and DGR
- Provide consultation on logistics quality related issues to Sales, Engineering, Project Delivery and CL representatives upon request
- Logistics quality related audits at Manufacturing, BUs and 3rd party Suppliers, if required
- Project Delivery dedicated planning, if required
- Logistics quality related claim handling, including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions guidance
- Plan and maintain a suitable scope of packing materials for manufacturing, BUs and 3rd party suppliers
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years’ experience in logistics, preferably in some of the areas of warehousing, transportation or load planning.
- Experience in supplier negotiations and contracting.
- Previous experience working with external and internal partners.
- You also need an understanding of logistics issues and a keen attention to detail.
- Customer-oriented, result-driven mindset
- Flexible and able to work in a changing, global work environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
