Zearch are working with a high growth Data and Automation company and hiring for their first PLG Sales Director for a new offering. This person will drive revenue growth by converting free users into paying customers. This company leverages a product-led growth (PLG) model, offering a self-serve, freemium experience that attracts customers/users/developers and businesses looking for cutting-edge API and Data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own and optimize the PLG sales funnel, converting free and freemium users into paid customers.
- Develop and execute high-touch and automated follow-up strategies to nurture self-serve signups.
- Work closely with product, marketing, and customer success teams to identify expansion opportunities.
- Analyze user behavior and engagement data to refine sales approaches and improve conversion rates.
- Engage with prospective customers, understanding their needs and positioning the APIβs value proposition effectively.
- Scale and refine PLG sales playbooks, tools, and automation to maximize efficiency.

Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in a sales leadership role within a PLG-driven Developer Tool or SaaS or API or AI or Automation Business.
- Deep understanding of freemium and self-serve sales models and how to drive conversion.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret product usage data and translate insights into sales strategies.
- Ability to work independently in a small, fast-moving team while collaborating cross-functionally.
- Located in North America, with experience selling to technical and business buyers.
