Standard Communications, Inc (SCI) has a wonderful opportunity on our growing Presales Engineering team. As a Presales Engineer you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to customers and sales teams for Nurse Call and Healthcare IT solutions. Support presales customer activities, discovery calls, site visits, and site surveys. Understanding the commercial cost and budget impact of customer needs and site details is a must. This role will be an active member in collaboration and design of Nurse Call and IT Healthcare solutions. Articulate advanced product features and benefits to customers and internal team members. Provide guidance on future product direction and overall SCI Healthcare IT solutions. Design, validate, and present solutions to include advanced product concepts and 3rd party complementary products.

Responsibilities:

• Able to gather information and requirements, identify potential solutions, and collaborate with engineering staff regarding Healthcare IT solutions.
• Conduct site visits and architect solutions for customers across the US. 
• Elaborate potential options and design optimal solutions for customers inclusive of full project cost estimates.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of integrated systems, APIs, and disparate systems.
• Work directly with SCI team members and partners/OEMs on roadmap and strategic topics.
• Recommend and design strategic offerings with an emphasis towards developing repeatable solutions.
• Some travel required for onsite visits but primarily a remote/telework position.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a presales or technical role.
• Prior experience working with Nurse Call systems.
• Ability to explain and resolve common technical aspects of Nurse Call and Healthcare IT solutions, including security, protocols, etc.
• Demonstrated strong teamwork and ability to collaborate with others.
• Must be prepared to learn new technologies and adapt as required to changing government regulation and policies.
• Demonstrated strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• US Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing Healthcare IT solutions.
• Experience with Jeron Electronics Nurse Call platforms.
• Previous sales/solution engineering experience.
• Undergraduate degree in related field. Adequate experience acceptable in lieu of degree.
