Senior Presales Engineer – Greek Public Sector

Salary Range: €2.500 - €4.000 Gross  

Location: Athens.

A leading software company Avenue is looking for a Senior Presales Engineer specializing in the Greek Public Sector. In this role, you will design and deliver innovative software solutions that enhance public services and foster technological advancements in government and public authorities.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable solutions aligned with public sector needs and objectives.
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities while building strong client relationships.
• Oversee the presales and bidding cycle, including requirements gathering, presentations, proof-of-concepts, solution design, and tendering.
• Recommend hardware and third-party software products.
• Act as a trusted advisor for client technical queries.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and public sector IT trends.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Presales, Consulting, or Delivery in the Public Sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Software, Engineering, or related field (Master’s is a plus).
• Expertise in bid management and public sector IT consulting.
• Knowledge of ESIDIS tender procedures is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in Greek and English.
