Position Overview

The President of Sales will oversee all aspects of the sales function, from developing sales strategies and managing key accounts to building a high-performing sales team. This position plays a critical role in driving revenue and ensuring the company's market expansion. The President of Sales will collaborate with the executive team and contribute to the company's overall business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet revenue targets and drive business growth.  
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on results and customer success.  
  • Identify and develop new market opportunities, expanding the company’s reach in both existing and emerging markets.  
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive long-term business success.  
  • Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to align sales strategies with customer needs and market trends.  
  • Oversee the sales forecasting process, ensuring accurate and data-driven sales projections.  
  • Manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize revenue growth and profitability.  
  • Monitor market conditions, competitive activity, and industry trends to inform sales strategy and adapt to changes.  
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to the executive team and board of directors on sales performance and growth initiatives.  
  • Drive continuous improvement within the sales organization, streamlining processes and leveraging technology to enhance efficiency.  

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a senior sales executive or President of Sales in a manufacturing or industrial company.  
  • Strong track record of driving revenue growth, market expansion, and leading high-performance sales teams.  
  • Deep understanding of sales processes, key account management, and market dynamics within the manufacturing industry.  
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and motivate teams.  
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and financial acumen, capable of driving data-informed decisions.  
  • Experience with CRM and sales management tools to streamline sales operations.  
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
