Job Summary & Responsibilities

About the Role:

​

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Contract Scheduler to assist with the implementation and roll-out of Microsoft Project Online. The successful candidate will help coordinate various tasks and resources to achieve our goals. This is a 6-month contract position.

​

Key Responsibilities

​

• Collaborate with project managers and team members to create and maintain detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project Online.
• Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect changes in project scope, resources, and timelines.
• Communicate schedule updates and potential delays to stakeholders promptly and clearly.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and resource allocation issues.
• Prepare and present regular schedule reports and dashboards to management and project teams.
• Assist in the development of project plans, including defining milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
• Provide support to team members on how to use Microsoft Project Online effectively.
• Ensure that all scheduling activities comply with company policies, procedures, and best practices.
• 25% travel I required.

Qualifications

​

Required Skills and Qualifications:

​

• BS in engineering and or Project management:
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project.
• Solid understanding of project management principles.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Has years’ experience building complete product development schedules.

Preferred Skills

​

• Experience with Project Online implementation or roll-out.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar credential.

Experience in a project management office (PMO) or similar structured environment
