About the Role:

The Project Manager, Software Implementations is primarily responsible for applying project management best practices for Aquatic Informatics (AQI) professional service projects from order to customer sign-off, keeping all internal and external stakeholders well informed throughout the course of the project. You are responsible for coordinating a team of other professionals in completing projects on time and within scope and budget while meeting the customer and AQI business needs.

This position is part of the Operations Department located remotely

The essential responsibilities of the job include:

  • Provide oversight and project management to a portfolio of projects from order to customer sign-off.
  • Build and maintain complete Project Plans focusing on risk management, communication, and effective use of resources.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and key stakeholders during project implementation.
  • Manage and report on project financials including revenue forecasts for the assigned portfolio of projects.
  • Create and maintain project schedules in project management software, including building of templates for standard services. 
  • Actively prioritize tasks and dynamically allocate internal resources to meet business goals.
  • Ensure project deployment is properly planned and communicated to the customer.
  • Transition the customer to standard support upon project completion. 

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience in project management in the software industry
  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager, implementing software solutions for customers
  • Demonstrable experience leading complex customer facing projects, including resource allocation
  • Outstanding presentation skills; clear customer focus; excellent organizational skills; effective team player
  • Outstanding English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to travel up to 10-15%

  • Proven track record in defining and managing software deployments that involve data migration from legacy systems a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage several concurrent projects

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $75,000 - $100,000 USD per year.
