Job Overview:

  • Type: Full-time with medical/dental
  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday; overtime/flex-hours as needed.
  • Supplemental Pay: $1000 quarterly bonus for revenue targets
  • Location: On-site work in office (Amherst) and in the field within the Knoxville Metro Area (Oak Ridge to Gatlinburg)

RobotLAB Knoxville is looking for a resourceful and customer-focused Implementation Manager (IM) to provide technical leadership in the successful deployment and integration of robotic systems in local businesses. In this role, you will educate customers in product functionality & standard operating procedures, provide technical support, and manage all aspects of the hardware and software components for each deployment. The ideal candidate will excel at meeting customer expectations, following their individual curiosity towards technical expertise, solving ambiguous problems, seeking appropriate and timely guidance, handling multiple projects efficiently, and managing a dynamic schedule that includes daily travel within the local area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use creative problem-solving and innovative thinking to implement, refine, and maintain solutions that deliver exceptional value to customers.
  • Set up and configure hardware including robots, peripherals, and docking stations.
  • Navigate and utilize various proprietary software systems.
  • Manage operating system versions and perform necessary upgrades or downgrades.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting via Zoom, phone calls, and other online platforms.
  • Oversee the integration of hardware, software, and SAAS solutions to deliver comprehensive systems.
  • Track and manage projects using CRM tools (Salesforce) and other web-based platforms.
  • Maintain and repair technological equipment following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Train and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing learning.

Qualifications:

  • Dedication to customer experience
  • Ability to translate advanced technical jargon to the general public 
  • 3+ years of experience in technical account management, appliance support, electronics repair, or similar roles
  • Hands-on experience with network configurations and electronic assembly tools (e.g., soldering iron, voltmeter)
  • In-depth knowledge of computer systems, IT infrastructure, internet security, and routers
  • Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent time-management and multitasking skills
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage customer expectations
  • Relevant diploma or certification is a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce and software installation preferred

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to reliably travel and work within 50 miles of Knoxville
  • Lift 50lbs
  • Standing, bending, walking for extended periods of time
  • Eyesight corrected to 20/25 or better (read size 8 font)
  • Fluency in English
  • Clean driving record and license
  • Familiarity with the Knoxville area, including connections with hospitality, healthcare, food service, and retail is a plus
