Role Description

Awz is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director (Individual Contributor) to join our team. This role will involve working with several of our portfolio companies that offer advanced software solutions for physical security. The Sales Director will be responsible for driving substantial sales growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities across the U.S.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans aimed at expanding market presence and achieving revenue goals.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by actively seeking potential customers and partnerships across sectors like SLED, retail, Financial Services, and entertainment. Leverage networking, industry events, and conferences to establish and grow valuable connections.

• Manage the sales process from qualified leads to closing deals, consistently surpassing sales targets by securing new contracts and fostering sustainable revenue growth.

• Partner with technical teams to tailor solutions to meet customer needs and articulate compelling value propositions.

• Deliver persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations to win new business and expand market share.

• Ensure accurate sales forecasting and reporting, maintaining transparent communication with leadership regarding pipeline progress and emerging business opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Proven hunter mentality with at least 10 years of experience in selling software solutions for physical security to large enterprises and organizations.

• A well-established network of strategic contacts and relationships with customers, partners, and service integrators in the physical security space.

• Track record of success in driving revenue growth and consistently surpassing sales quotas.

• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
