We are growing automation manufacturing company serving the auto, med tech and industrial industries. We are seeking a hungry, driven, strategic sales thought leader to join our growing organization!

Experience selling robotics and automation products is a MUST.

PLEASE NO SaaS OR SOFTWARE SALES LEADERS. PRODUCT SALES ONLY will be considered.

The Sales Director leads and directs the U.S. sales team and sales growth strategy to ensure business goals, profitability plans, and budgetary objectives are reached or exceeded. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, this sales leader will develop overall inside and outside sales funnel strategy and account management planning for the business, as well as lead and develop a growing team of diverse sales managers. This is a hands-on, strategic role.

Role is REMOTE with 50% TRAVEL within the US.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Develop and own North American Sales Strategy with a focus on growth and new markets.

• Own funnel management strategy and delivery with an eye for growth.

• Create and implement KPI’s and other performance indicators (revenue, vs. plan, forecast sales growth, profitability goals of unit, new customer goals, quote closure rate, inventory exposure rate, inventory turnover, gross profit, etc).

• Establish sales goals and ensures these goals are met by sales team.

• Act as a coach, mentor, and leader to the sales and customer service team to achieve goals and objectives related to customer demands.

• Develop and manage all sales processes and policies which include but are not limited to account policies, commission policies, sales recruiting and hiring, account strategy, etc.

• Ensure customer pricing is aligned with customer goals, company goals, and company objectives.

• Develop and communicate a monthly business review which includes sales performance and trending information.

• Develop and manage the annual budget and forecast.

• Partner with global sales teams to elevate and optimize sales processes and account development.
