Title: Director of Sales
Location: Remote or On-Site in Salt Lake City Metropolitan, UT
Position Summary
A fast-growing and innovative contract manufacturing company is seeking an experienced and hands-on Director of Sales to drive revenue growth and expand market share. This role will lead the development and execution of company-wide sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with executive leadership to devise and execute a comprehensive B2B sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market growth.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry partners to drive business growth.
- Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to refine sales strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, finance, product development, and operations teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and lead a small sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Performance Tracking: Establish and oversee tracking reports for accountability, ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 10 years in B2B sales within the dietary supplement, nutraceutical, or contract manufacturing industry, with a strong track record of success.
- Leadership: Proven experience in sales team management, including recruiting, coaching, and developing both outside sales and internal client services teams.
- Strategic Planning: Demonstrated ability to implement sales infrastructure, including compensation plans, territory and account strategies, and reporting mechanisms.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
