THIS IS AN EQUITY + COMMISSION COMPENSATION ROLE.

What We’re Looking For

We're looking for a boba lover with the creativity to get our RTD ready-to-drink boba beverages into into non-retail and even unconventional places for fellow boba lovers to discover and enjoy.

We have a team already working on traditional and conventional retail channels like supermarkets, convenience stores, warehouse clubs, or food service channels like restaurants and cafes. We're now recruiting for someone who is clever about what we consider "alternative" channels, such as corporate pantries, colleges/universities, or concessions at amusement parks/events.

In other words, where can consumers discover new beverage brands and products outside of their grocery shopping and restaurant dining? That they'll then recognize and purchase when they are grocery shopping or restaurant dining?

If you have ideas and the will to pitch our fresh+simple RTD boba beverages to such organizations, departments, or programs, we'd like you to be our evangelist and a crusader. That said, we do want to emphasize that if you don't love boba, we advise to you to not apply, as a genuine and authentic love for boba and our products is absolutely necessary for you to succeed and thrive in this mission.

What Are Our Expectations?

We expect you to proactively identify businesses and organizations with employees and stakeholders that would enjoy having our products available on premise, connect with the relevant decision-makers, and negotiate vendor or distribution agreements for us to supply them with our product.

You’ll establish and manage the customer-vendor relationship with them, as a trusted business partner if not their best friend forever. You'll regularly check in to see how our product is received and performing in their environment with their audiences to foster discovery, trial, consumption, and satisfaction.

You'll work closely with the rest of us as a tight-knit team, discussing overall business issues and decisions, advocating and supporting each other towards our shared vision of our company and brand's future. We expect you to have an owner's mentality and spirit.

Prior experience and accomplishments in the CPG consumer packaged goods industry, in a sales or business development role, will help you help us... which—if you think about it—ultimately helps you again.

You should be fluent in work productivity software like Google Workspace and communication tools like Slack.

You should be diligent in documenting, tracking, and reporting your outreach, prospecting, meetings, and negotiation results.

You should be comfortable with business travel and working in the field, as much of your role is face-to-face interaction with your sales prospects and account partners.

You are based in California, sunny California, specifically Los Angeles or San Francisco.

You will work with us on a full-time basis, and dream about our boba when unconscious.

What Are We Offering?

We're offering an above-average commission rate on all sales from accounts your bring in and service, which you can apply towards building a sizable equity stake in the company that makes you a true co-owner and partner with the rest of us, or take as cash commissions each month.

This is not a fit for everyone, or even most people. Please carefully evaluate your personal financial needs against your ambitions before applying. All existing partners have committed to not drawing a base salary until our company has reached a target revenue benchmark with your contribution and leadership.
