Our client is a leading provider of advanced energy storage systems, empowering businesses to optimize energy consumption, reduce costs, and enhance grid resilience. We are experiencing rapid growth and are seeking a highly motivated Sales Director, National to spearhead their C&I sales strategy and build a high-performing sales team.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and Execute National Sales Strategy: Craft and implement a comprehensive national sales strategy to achieve ambitious revenue targets for our C&I energy storage solutions.
- Lead and Mentor Sales Team: Recruit, train, and manage a nationwide team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Drive Revenue Growth: Identify and cultivate key customer relationships, negotiate complex contracts, and close significant deals with C&I clients.
- Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence: Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Build Strategic Partnerships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including installers, developers, and consultants.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure seamless customer experience and product alignment.
- Accurate Sales Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
- Represent the Company: Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our brand and solutions.
What You Bring:
- Proven Sales Leadership: Minimum 8+ years of experience in C&I Energy Storage sales.
- C&I Expertise: Deep understanding of the C&I energy market, including customer needs, market dynamics, and regulatory landscape.
- National Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in developing and executing national sales strategies.
- Strong Network: Established network of contacts within the C&I energy sector.
- Excellent Communication and Negotiation Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences and negotiate complex agreements.
- Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze market data, identify opportunities, and develop effective solutions.
- Results-Oriented and Driven: Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Willingness to Travel: Ability to travel frequently across the United States.
