Sales Director, Strategic Accounts, TDK InvenSense

Responsibilities

  • Drive design win and revenue growth in major customer accounts for all TDK InvenSense products
  • Lead sales efforts associated with all account activities including managing customer-facing program management (with TDK Customer Program Management and Engineering teams), opportunity identification through design win closure, opportunity funnel management, and forecasting
  • Collaborate closely with TDK InvenSense business units to identify new opportunities and provide guidance in generating RFQ responses
  • Collaborate closely with TDK Corporation on multi-TDK entity strategic engagements and customer meetings
  • Own order and revenue targets. Develop accurate forecasts. Maintain opportunities in a CRM system. Follow and share business and market trends.
  • Develop and grow customer relationships with key executive management, engineering, and supply chain management teams
  • Develop and maintain key partnerships with internal marketing and product development organizations
  • Partner with the customer for strategic product development projects
  • Provide input on product requirements and product development and drive for the necessary product enhancements
  • Support associated channel partners

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated and trusted sales leader, detail-oriented and self-motivated, with strategic and tactical skills
  • Proven track record for sales growth
  • Strong working knowledge of the semiconductor/sensor market
  • Experience in managing large accounts
  • Has demonstrated an exceptional ability in identifying/qualifying potential markets and revenue opportunities
  • Possesses a deep understanding of how to expand sales at existing customers - leveraging existing customer relationships and experience - in addition to acquiring new customers in a fast-growing dynamic environment,
  • Experience in selling technically semiconductor products to consumer, industrial, and/or automotive customers
  • Has successfully worked across global markets
  • Is a strong negotiator with a “hunger-to-win” mentality, and a proven record in closing profitable deals
  • Skilled in managing multiple, conflicting priorities. Has good organization and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working with CRM systems
  • BS technical degree or equivalent
  • 10+ years of sales experience
