We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in our growth journey.

Job Description:

As a Sales Engineer, you will be the technical expert and trusted advisor for our potential clients. You will work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs, design tailored solutions, and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations that showcase the value of our products. This role is highly cross-functional, collaborating and coordinating with Engineering, Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our SaaS products and solutions, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
  • Client Engagement: Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify opportunities, understand customer requirements, and develop customized solutions that meet their needs.
  • Presentations & Demos: Create and deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations that effectively communicate the value and benefits of our solutions.
  • Solution Design: Work with customers to understand their technical requirements and design appropriate solutions, including integrations with existing systems.
  • Proof of Concept (PoC): Manage and execute PoC projects to demonstrate the feasibility and benefits of our solutions in the customer's environment.
  • RFP/RFI Responses: Provide detailed technical information and solutions to assist in responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Prospect Feedback: Gather and communicate prospect feedback to the product development team to help shape future product enhancements.
  • Training & Support: Provide technical training and support to sales team members and partners to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Market Insights: Stay updated with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to provide insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a SaaS sales engineering role.
  • Technical Skills: While this position does not require coding, it requires a strong understanding of APIs, application security, and product development frameworks. You will be responsible for securing the technical sale with potential customers and their technology teams.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Consultative Approach: Strong tendency toward curiosity and root cause discovery.
  • Presentation Skills: Experience in delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations to diverse audiences.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. This role is highly cross-functional.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel quarterly for customer meetings, conferences, and events.
