About the Role:
Sanguine Biosciences is seeking a Salesforce Solutions Architect and Lead Administrator to drive the strategic vision, architecture, and hands-on management of our Salesforce ecosystem. This hybrid role blends high-level solution design with hands-on administration, ensuring a scalable, efficient, and well-integrated platform. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing business processes, streamlining system integrations, and empowering revenue-generating teams with innovative, data-driven solutions.
We are looking for a Salesforce expert capable of driving high-impact initiatives that improve operational efficiency and empower teams to focus on growth. This role will work cross-functionally across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to design, implement, and maintain Salesforce solutions that align with our business objectives. This role reports to the Director, Revenue Operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Salesforce Strategy and Solution Architecture
- Architect and optimize Salesforce solutions to support operations, patient data workflows, and sales processes.
- Architect and design scalable, efficient, and secure Salesforce solutions, ensuring they meet long-term operational goals.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to analyze business processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement automation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, IT, and Business teams to ensure data integrity, security, and regulatory adherence (HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR, FDA, and ISO).
- Develop and maintain system architecture diagrams and documentation to standardize processes and ensure knowledge continuity.
- Evaluate and integrate third-party applications and tools to enhance Salesforce functionality, including billing, finance, and sales productivity tools and ensuring they align with regulatory and security requirements.
- Define best practices, governance policies, and change management for system updates and enhancements.
- Provide strategic guidance on process optimization, reducing manual effort and increasing automation.
- Lead and execute cross-functional projects, ensuring smooth implementation and stakeholder alignment.
Salesforce Administration and Automation
- Oversee day-to-day administration, including user management, permission sets, workflows, and automations.
- Build and optimize Flows, Process Builders, Validation Rules, and Approval Processes to automate business workflows.
- Maintain and optimize Sales, Service and Experience Cloud, ensuring intuitive user experiences and engagement strategies.
- Support Commerce Cloud functionalities, including product catalogs, checkout processes, and customer interactions.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce system issues, proactively identifying areas for improvement.
- Maintain integrations with sales, operations, and finance tools, ensuring seamless data flow across platforms.
- Manage custom objects, fields, and reporting, creating tailored dashboards and insights for business users.
- Perform regular system audits and data cleanups to maintain system integrity.
- Maintain data integrity through audits, validation rules, and access controls.
- Ensure proper role-based access control (RBAC), encryption, and audit logging to safeguard patient and research data.
- Monitor and resolve system issues, IT tickets, and integration performance proactively.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, documentation, and training materials to support internal teams.
- Work in close collaboration with Quality Assurance to ensure Sanguine systems remain in a validated state at all times.
Leadership and Collaboration
- Act as the Salesforce technical SME, advising leadership and cross-functional teams on best practices.
- May lead cross-functional meetings to assess business needs and prioritize Salesforce enhancements.
- Collaborate with procurement and IT to oversee vendor relationships and manage budgets for Salesforce-related tools and services as needed.
- Provide reporting and insights on Salesforce performance, adoption, and system improvements.
- Partner with leadership to balance operational efficiency and regulatory requirements in system enhancements.
- Stay updated on Salesforce releases and industry trends, proactively identifying innovation opportunities.
Position Requirements:
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (Required)
- Preferred Certifications:
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator
- Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant
- Salesforce B2B Commerce Administrator
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience, including solution design, implementation, and optimization.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud, and Commerce Cloud implementations.
- Experience Cloud and Commerce Cloud expertise is a plus
- Strong knowledge of automation tools, system architecture, and integration best practices.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party applications (e.g., finance, billing, e-commerce, and sales productivity tools).
- Familiarity with data security, compliance standards, and governance best practices (HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR, FDA, ISO etc.).
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence key stakeholders.
- Ability to troubleshoot, research, and resolve system issues independently while driving strategic initiatives.
- Ability to support audits by ensuring system documentation, security controls, and data integrity meet regulatory requirements.
- Experience leading Salesforce projects, managing cross-functional teams, and overseeing system enhancements.
Salary Range: $140,000-$155,000 plus performance based bonus
