Our client, a leading consulting firm in the eDiscovery industry, is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer to provide technical sales support and guide prospective customers through the sales cycle. This role involves assessing client needs, demonstrating tailored solutions, and collaborating with sales and technical teams to drive growth. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in sales engineering or technical consulting, a strong understanding of eDiscovery software, and expertise in Relativity, NUIX, or Reveal platforms. This is a remote position open to candidates across the U.S. Candidates with eDiscovery tool-specific certifications will be considered first.

Key Responsibilities

- Showcase the companyβs solutions to prospective clients by providing a comprehensive overview of product functionality, workflow, and value
- Guide potential customers in defining their needs and setting realistic expectations for proposed solutions
- Analyze customer requirements, addressing underlying concerns and designing tailored solutions
- Assess complex IT and software environments, compiling necessary specifications for sales proposals
- Work with procurement and delivery teams to evaluate and source relevant software and hardware solutions
- Clearly communicate technical configurations, cost trade-offs, and overall budget implications to clients
- Participate in high-level sales discussions, technical demonstrations, and presentations
- Develop structured implementation plans based on client needs and agreed-upon proposals
- Maintain and enhance standardized documentation outlining technical requirements and proposed solutions
- Partner with internal engineering teams to troubleshoot and provide technical support where necessary
- Share expertise and mentor technical staff to improve team competencies
- Offer insights to sales and technology leadership based on feedback from customer interactions and demos
- Conduct system health checks to evaluate client environments and recommend appropriate products or services
- Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to ensure seamless client engagement and communication
- Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in the eDiscovery and legal technology industry

Qualifications
β
- Several years of experience in sales engineering or technical consulting
- Proven success in driving business growth within the eDiscovery or legal software industry
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Strong knowledge of the EDRM framework
- Hands-on experience with Relativity, NUIX, and/or Reveal platforms
- Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to engage with clients at all organizational levels, including executive leadership
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality assurance
- Capable of managing multiple sales cycles efficiently
- Self-motivated and adaptable in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
- Ability to adjust product messaging based on specific client use cases
- Willingness to travel up to 15% for client engagements

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with cloud-based legal software or eDiscovery platforms
- Certifications such as Relativity Infrastructure Specialist or Relativity Certified Administrator are highly desirable
- Additional certifications or training in LAW, Brainspace, Reveal, and NUIX are a plus

Expected salary for this role is $140,000 - $150,000, commensurate with experience, training, skills, qualifications, and other market factors.
