Senior Sales Manager / Director – Healthcare Solutions

Overview:

We are seeking a results-driven and strategic sales leader to drive business growth and market expansion within the healthcare provider sector. This role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, increasing market share, and fostering long-term relationships with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in selling complex solutions and navigating extended sales cycles within the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to acquire new clients and expand existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
  • End-to-End Sales Process: Own the full sales lifecycle, from lead generation and discovery to presentations, demonstrations, proposals, contract negotiations, and deal closure.
  • Market Intelligence & Customer Insights: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor movements, and healthcare innovations to inform sales strategies.
  • Pipeline & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including executives and clinical leadership, to drive long-term success.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, customer success, and product teams to refine value propositions, ensure seamless client onboarding, and support account management.
  • Sales Reporting & CRM Management: Accurately track sales activities, forecasts, and performance metrics using Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
  • Strategic Guidance: Provide insights to senior leadership on market trends, competitive positioning, and business development opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Demonstrated success in complex, consultative sales within the healthcare sector.
  • Proven ability to sell value-driven solutions, including cost-savings and revenue-generating models.
  • Experience growing sales in an emerging or mid-sized company preferred.
  • Strong ability to navigate long sales cycles (9-12 months) and engage C-suite executives.
  • Expertise in cold outreach, strategic prospecting, and relationship-building.
