Job Summary

The Senior Solutions Engineer develops technical solutions for Flores. They work with business stakeholders to understand customer needs and create strategic solutions. This role requires an excellent problem solver and well versed in executing complex SQL statements and scripts. This role requires someone to have deep knowledge of the CDH industry, be a master of understanding our business and data, have a strong technical and systems understanding, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Senior Solutions Engineer reports to the VP of Process and Planning.
What You’ll Do
- Support key projects and initiatives through analysis, reporting, and scripting.
- Act as a data and systems expert that can traverse various platforms, write complex SQL from scratch and script updates with timeliness and precision.
- Execute queries and generate comprehensive reports ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery for business analysis and decision-making.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align improvement and efficiency initiatives with business goals and objectives.
- Diagnose challenging issues and assist with Production support, system monitoring and other tasks as needed.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of process changes and improvements.
- Identify system gaps and issues, pursue remediation efforts with partners in Technology.
- Assist in the automation of current reports, audits and other special projects as assigned.
- Possess a deep understanding of data, quality controls and the movement of data within internal and external systems. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Who You Are
- A graduate of a Bachelor’s degree program from a four-year college or university in Business, Engineering or a related field, with 7+ years of experience in a similar or relevant role.
- Someone with strong experience and familiarity in the CDH Industry. Demonstrated experience with Consumer-Directed Healthcare (CDH) plans, including Health Savings Accounts (HSA), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRA), and COBRA administration.
- Experienced with SQL and the ability to write complex queries and scripts from scratch.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with proven leadership skills and the ability to bring people/teams together.
- A qualified candidate who possesses above average analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to make decisions efficiently.
- An individual that understands the value of providing a high level of customer service.
Work Environment
Flores’ standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET with an hour lunch. Roles may be approved for other schedules by managers. This role operates in a professional office environment. To be considered for this role, you must reside in one of the following states — AZ, CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV. This role is mostly sedentary and consists of prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. This role also utilizes other tools such as a phone, copy machine, and printer. Common programs often used are Outlook, Word, and Excel. This position frequently communicates with Flores team members and candidates and must be able to exchange accurate information clearly in these situations.

Salary Description
$107,520 - $134,400 depending on experience
