About the Role:

At Autura, we’re all about the team and looking for individuals who embody empathy, ambition, and a strong team spirit. Right now, we’re looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our Sales Department. As the Solutions Engineer you will collaborate closely with our Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to present Autura’s application features. You’ll manage customer pilots, prospect demonstrations, and maintain a deep knowledge of Autura’s products. Your role will be critical in ensuring our customers see the intended benefits of the technologies we offer. The ideal candidate will possess strategic and analytical aptitude, a strong technical foundation, and excellent interpersonal skills.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Continually maintain a deep understanding of Autura’s product suite
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to engage potential customers, employing a consultative sales approach to ascertain fit and alignment
  • Lead and support discussions within the Sales team to provide insights for planning account strategy
  • Proactively identity and effectively address customers’ technical needs and objections, leveraging a solution-driven mindset to drive sales
  • Develop and deliver tailored solution proposals, seamlessly aligning specific client business requirements with effective technical solutions, emphasizing Autura’s products and services
  • Sustain a high-level awareness of competitors’ products, strategizing how to position and differentiate Autura effectively
  • Conduct pre-sales demonstrations and presentations, providing a detailed overview of Autura’s products
  • Collaborate closely with the product and marketing teams, offering valuable feedback to enhance product positioning and messaging
  • Actively contribute as a collaborative team member, learning and openly sharing new insights and expertise
  • Proficiently understand customers’ objectives and challenges through successful discovery
  • Confidently articulate the business value of the Autura platform across various business levels
  • Showcase the Autura product, effectively distinguishing us from competitors

About You:

  • 5+ years in a customer facing pre-sales position or relevant experience
  • Broad knowledge of SaaS, infrastructure, and software products
  • Proven expertise in developing and delivering effective technical presentations, workshops, customized demonstrations, and proof of concepts
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Strong desire for growth and improvement, highly receptive to coaching and development
  • Proactive in taking initiative and maintaining a positive attitude
  • Flexible and available for travel as required for the role’s demands
  • Demonstrates ambition, curiosity, and self-motivation
  • Interest to continually learn in sales and technical knowledge
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, presentation skills, and the ability to listen
  • Curiosity about technology, and a passion to both learn and share with peers or customers
  • Continuous questions on why things are done they way they are – identifying opportunities you can provide efficiencies

For this role, the base salary range is $130,000-$150,000 + OTE. Total compensation also includes a competitive benefits package. A salary offer will be determined by several factors including experience, skill level, education, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all team members pay and compensation programs regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay.
