Position Overview:

​

As we continue to expand our reach, we are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Solutions Engineer to oversee client implementations and integrations with RQD’s robust technology stack. As a Solutions Engineer at RQD*, you will oversee all new client onboarding and technical integrations for RQD’s new and existing clients, while ensuring the regulatory and technical aspects of going to market or adding new product lines are managed well. This role requires technical knowledge of API-based integrations and complex back-office setups.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Explain RQD’s API offering to new and existing clients of RQD
• Manage the onboarding process from documentation to first client interaction to production for RQD’s clients
• Engage with clients on retail, institutional, and advisory needs
• Assist on sales pitches to demonstrate the technology and functionality of RQD
• Create project plans for client onboarding and update management weekly on status of onboardings
• Manage and integrate to 3rd parties to improve RQD’s product offering
• Improve and shorten the onboarding lifecycle at RQD
• Cross team interaction to determine the best solutions for new and existing clients
• Scale RQD’s onboarding team as RQD grows
• Help to define and create additional documentation to streamline future integrations and enhance developer experience

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related STEM field (or equivalent work experience) required
• 5+ years of prior work experience
• Financial services technology background preferred
• FINRA licensing preferred but not required

Required Skills/Abilities

• Strong background with developing, testing, and maintaining REST APIs
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and in particular Microsoft Azure
• Proven experience in at least one or more of the following languages: SQL, Java, Python, C#, C++, etc.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external parties
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with monitoring/CI-CD/DevOps is a plus.

Salary Range: $125,000 USD - $175,000 USD
