About Our Client
Our client is a fast-growing Series A FinTech SaaS company based in the U.S., focused on driving innovation at the intersection of payments and data intelligence. Their mission is to help merchants and their software partners reduce payment processing costs by delivering cutting-edge data solutions that enable competition on every transaction.
Role and Purpose
This position will report to the VP of Partnerships and will be home-office based, with up to 20% travel required. As a Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client’s enterprise-level partnerships. You will work cross-functionally to improve adoption, align incentives, develop go-to-market strategies, and enable partners to achieve their goals while supporting revenue objectives. You will work closely with sales engineers, the partnerships team, and the executive leadership, including the CEO, to ensure successful partner engagement.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical liaison between the company and its strategic partners, including ISVs (A/R platforms, EBPP platforms), ERPs, Payfacs, large banks, and gateways.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company’s payment solutions, ensuring seamless integration with partner technologies.
- Lead technical onboarding and implementation processes for new partners.
- Align partner technical teams with internal engineering and product teams.
- Provide training and technical enablement to partner sales teams.
- Support sales teams in complex partner engagements by delivering product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept guidance.
- Identify technical challenges and work collaboratively to resolve them.
- Track, manage, and present partner-related technical metrics and insights.
- Stay current with emerging payment technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Must have - Strong technical background in payments, fintech, or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of experience in solutions architecture, technical sales, or pre-sales engineering within enterprise B2B SaaS.
- Experience managing complex enterprise relationships and technical integrations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-starter with a high degree of ownership and adaptability.
