Solutions Engineer
Job Description
Uptempo is looking for a new Solutions Engineer -- a multi-faceted customer facing role that will support our sales teams across our enterprise and technology sales organizations globally.
Our ideal Solutions Engineer will be a highly creative and polished presenter with domain expertise in marketing planning and strategy, marketing budgets or digital marketing, as well as project oriented and organized to balance the variety of projects across our many opportunities. You will possess reasonable technical skills, including application troubleshooting, video production skills and no fear associated with learning new platforms.
What you'll do:
- Provide product demos to customers and prospects
- Assist sales in discovery and opportunity qualification
- Participate in opportunity reviews
- Assist the sales teams with value proposition creation, product based follow-ups, pricing, and SOW composition
- Conduct Capabilities Deep Dives and Business Value Assessments
- Create and moderate custom POC environments for customers
- Represent the organization at various field marketing events
- Support the product organization through design feedback and troubleshooting
- Support the content and webinar needs of the product marketing organization
- Support teammates’ efforts deliver on their responsibilities whenever possible
Skills and experience we're excited about:
- 3-5 years of prior experience as a solutions engineer, driving over $1.5 million in ARR each year
- Excellent story-telling and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective organization and time management skills
- The creativity to design compelling solutions for proofs of concept
- An acute attention to detail and commitment to success in everything they do
- A team first orientation
- A high level of business acumen and an unquenchable intellectual curiosity
- A high level of proficiency in Powerpoint as well as other MS-Office products, especially Excel
- A bachelor’s degree
- An additional 2+ years of marketing experience preferred
- Languages: English and German fluency is highly preferred
