Job Description

Our client, a financial firm, is seeking a skilled Solution Engineer with expertise in Venafi. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing certificate lifecycle solutions using Venafi's Trust Protection Platform, ensuring secure and efficient digital key and certificate management across our enterprise.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, implementation, and administration of Venafi solutions to manage digital certificates and cryptographic keys.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to integrate Venafi effectively into existing and emerging technology stacks.
• Develop automation and scripting solutions to streamline Venafi processes and workflows.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Venafi platform performance and reliability.
• Provide technical guidance, documentation, and training to team members on Venafi best practices.
• Stay updated on industry standards, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends related to cryptographic security and certificate management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience implementing and administering Venafi Trust Protection Platform.
• Proficient in automation and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.).
• Strong understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), certificate lifecycle management, cryptographic standards, and related technologies.

Start: April  

Duration: 12 Months  

Time commitment: 10-15 hours per week  

Location: Remote  

Expected range: $100 - $150 per hour
