About The Opportunity

​

We"re looking for a technically-minded professional interested in implementing best-in-class advanced planning and scheduling software. The Solutions Engineer (“SE”) is a junior consultant role that assists implementation teams and partners with data integration, project execution, and software configuration and testing. Additionally, the SE engages in the following daily activities:

​

• Mapping business processes and translate into technology requirements (e.g. FRD, BRD, SRS docs).
• Creating proposals and scope documents for new projects.
• Becoming a product and troubleshooting expert.
• Reviewing and editing system and design documentation.
• Leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities during implementation projects.
• Conducting product demos and training sessions whenever appropriate.

The ideal candidate is an autonomous, go-getter, who relishes the opportunity to be involved in many different projects and initiatives at the same time. Performing all tasks and status updates with an acute sense urgency at all times is second nature to the person best fitting this role. To succeed, the SE must be able to handle multiple requests and competing priorities with grace and a level head all while meeting deadlines and SLAs.

This position reports into the Director of Professional Services. In general, we"re looking for team members whose equilibrium is juggling multiple projects and priorities. Strong candidates will possess an innate ability to set the standard and strive for excellence every minute of the day. To succeed at PlanetTogether, candidates should be incredible critical thinkers, relentless problem solvers, and positive people.

Requirements

​

• Bachelor"s degree with Engineering, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing focus
• 3+ years of experience in a technology or SaaS environment.
• 3+ years of experience managing complex technology integration projects.
• Preferred: working knowledge of Siemens OpCenter (Preactor), Dassault Ortems, Optessa, Asprova, MangoGem, or other advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software.
• Advanced aptitude and ability to learn and be able to demonstrate the use of integrated enterprise software quickly (days not weeks).
• Basic knowledge of SQL or other relational databases would be helpful.
• Fast learner, with an ability to learn complex software systems, understand user challenges, and offer creative yet practical solutions.
• Native-level fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking) and comfortable speaking with colleagues, partners, and clients across all mediums.
• Manufacturing and supply chain experience is a major plus.
