About The Role

​

Ownera is hiring a Solutions Engineer (Pre-Sales) to support its commercial and product teams in driving the adoption of the Ownera Router and FinP2P protocol. This role combines deep technical knowledge with strong client engagement skills to guide financial institutions through discovery, integration, and onboarding.

Working closely with financial services clients such as banks, asset managers, and fintechs, you will design custom technical solutions, deliver impactful demonstrations, and support the pre-sales process. This position can be based in London or remotely, with the ability to meet clients across the UK and US as needed.

Responsibilities

​

• Lead technical discovery sessions and translate client requirements into tailored solution designs
• Deliver demos, presentations, and proof-of-concept environments to support enterprise sales cycles
• Act as a bridge between commercial teams and product/engineering to shape client-centric solutions
• Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Assist with client onboarding, technical troubleshooting, and delivery of training workshops
• Stay informed about digital asset regulation, blockchain advancements, and financial infrastructure

Skills And Qualifications

​

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline
• Strong understanding of blockchain, digital assets, tokenization, and enterprise SaaS infrastructure
• 3–6 years of experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting roles in fintech
• Experience integrating APIs, legacy systems, and financial infrastructure in regulated environments
• Familiarity with scripting (Python, Bash), containerization (Kubernetes/Docker), and cloud platforms
• Proven ability to manage long enterprise sales cycles and support procurement processes
• Understanding of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, or MiFID II
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both technical and business-facing
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work in a fast-moving startup environment
