HYBRID Sr. Java Full Stack Software Engineers (MicroServices APIs | AWS or GovCloud | CI/CD)  

On a HYBRID schedule in San Diego, CA

MUST HAVE an active Secret (or higher) DoD security clearance

Any certifications are highly preferred! (CompTIA Sec+, AWS, Azure, DevOps, etc.)

PROJECT SCOPE:

• The qualified candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that works in a rapid development environment.  
• The qualified candidate should have experience with Java, Web Services, Cloud architectures, operations and application deployment, XML and WSDL knowledge.

​

REQUIREMENTS:

• MUST have an active Secret (or higher) level DoD clearance  
• MSCS/BSCS or related 4-year degree in engineering/technical discipline  
• 7+ years of OOD/OOP/SOA experience with Java/J2EE software design, code and test experience through SDLC, Agile methodologies  
• Expertise with cloud application deployment on either AWS, Azure, or GCP deployment (AWS GovCloud or MilCloud preferred)  
• Strong with developing, integrating, consuming Web Services (MicroServices Architecture, REST/RESTful APIs, XML, WSDL)  
• Experience with scripting and other languages (e.g., JavaScript, React, AJAX, JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, JQuery, and/or PERL)  
• Relational Database (RDBMS) development: SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.  
• Configuration Management tools (e.g., Jira, Git, and/or Subversion)  
• Experience with Agile Development or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)  
• Experience monitoring, troubleshooting and fixing complex systems, preferably in a 24/7 operational environment  
• Team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to be productive in a dynamic/collaborative environment

HIGHLY PREFERRED (but NOT required):

• Any certifications: CompTIA Security+, AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer and/or SysOps Administrator certifications  
• Domain knowledge of Terraform (IaC)  
• Domain knowledge of Ansible scripting with AWS  
• Familiarity with AWS GovCloud setting up a CI/CD pipeline  
• Developing launch configurations for deployment into AWS GovCloud  
• Experience with Cloud One integration  
• Software Installation Development (InstallShield, InstallAnywhere)  
• Experience with Software Systems Performance Analysis  
• Experience with automated test tools  
• Development tools and services (e.g., MS Visual Studio, Eclipse)
