Technical Sales Director
Job Overview
I’m looking for a Technical Sales Director experienced in selling complex technology to healthcare institutions across the US.
Successful candidates will have a background in sales in healthcare technology, you will have built relationships at major healthcare organizations, and be comfortable meeting with C-level executives.
You must have regularly exceeded sales targets, be familiar & happy travelling to customer sites for product demonstrations and to close deals.
Requirements
- Healthcare technology sales experience
- SaaS platform sales experience
- Successful sales track record, regularly exceeding targets
- Strong existing relationships with medical practices, hospitals & other healthcare institutions and experience in B2B sales.
- Technical knowledge – strong enough to have conversations with customers
- Technical knowledge of technologies such as Python/AWS/Terraform/JavaScript
- Knowledge of LLM/NLP/AI/Machine Learning advantageous
- Experience in working in small sales organizations and tech startups
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to think strategically as well as operationalize tactics
Responsibilities
- Drive the sales cycle from qualified leads to closing
- Nurture relationships with prospects keeping them engaged
- Sales demonstrations onsite and virtually
- Answer prospect questions about the technology
- Engage technical resources as needed during the sales process to respond effectively to detailed questions about implementation and workflow
- Promote the vision and mission and effectively communicate our value proposition generating excitement and interest in our target markets
