This position will be supported from a home office; location can be anywhere in the UK.

We seek a self-driven, passionate engineer to join our Presales team and support our continued growth. The ability to work autonomously and a friendly, outgoing personality are key to success in this role.

You will work closely with our customers and sales and services teams to drive the growth of our software and services business. We get to work on various cutting-edge projects with industry-leading engineering companies and offer challenging careers in a dynamic environment.

What to expect as your primary responsibilities:

• Support Mechanical Pre-sales Engagements.  
• Support Mechanical Engineering simulation services work for various industries.
• Provide software support to our customers while establishing a friendly, collaborative rapport.
• Troubleshoot user models and recommend best practices and modelling guidelines.
• Provide software training to our customers.
• Maintain broad and up-to-date knowledge of Maya HTT's product portfolio and solutions.
• Present at tradeshows, webinars, and conferences.

Requirements:

• A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of structural mechanics and finite element concepts; these may include static, dynamic, nonlinear, durability, vibro-acoustics, laminates, thermo-mechanically-coupled simulations and optimisation.
• Experience with structural solvers such as Nastran, ANSYS or ABAQUS;
• Experienced user of CAD tools, with NX experience a plus;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills;
• Strong interpersonal skills, ownership, communication skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• The ability to work as an individual contributor or as a team member.
• English proficiency.
• Availability to travel (<20%)

Nice to have:

• Software Presales Experience.
• Experience with Systems modelling, CFD and PLM. 
• French proficiency.
• Experience with some of the following vendor products: Siemens, Dassault, PTC, Ansys, Hexagon and  Altair.
